Defeat Goomba
King easy
Start by making Mario hit the tree next to him to defeat the Goomba Bros.
and damage Goomba King. Make Goombario use Tattle on Goomba King. After
Goomba King attacks Mario use a Fireflower on him and make Goombario attack.
After Goomba King attacks Mario again, just attack and you should beat
him with 8 or 13 HP left!
Easy Star
Points
In Flower Fields (Chapter 6), there are a lot of enemies called Crazee
Dayzees. But in a certain spot you can find an Amazee Dayzee which gives
around 40 starpoints, and you can fight it as many times as you want!
When you get in flower fields, go to the bottom right path. Give the flower
a yellow berry to open the gate if you havn't yet. Go across the platforms
to a small patch of flowers next to a tree. There will be two crazee dayzees
in the patch. But there is a chance that one of them will be shining gold.
Keep leaving the area and coming back until you see a gold one, and attack
it. It is an amazee dayzy. The problem with these guys is they run 99%
of the time when they can, and have 20 HP! There is a SLIGHT chance they
will attack (for 20 damage, watch out!). So the trick is to kill them
in just 1 turn. This is very difficult because of the high HP, and they
hardly ever get dizzy or asleep. But I have a strategy for killing it
WITHOUT USING ANY FP! It requires the Dizzy Attack Badge, an Ultra Ranked
Watt, and good timing (If you miss one of the action commands, the flower
will get away!). (optional) The mega jump/smash badge, for say if watt
misses an action command on the first turn, (and does 1 instead of 5)
you would use that to make up for it next turn because the megas increase
the attack by +4. Now find an amazee dayzee, but dont attack it yet. First,
I reccomend you kill the crazee dayzee, so it doesnt bother you. Then,
SPIN into the amazee dazee. Because of the dizzy attack badge, it will
be out for 1 turn automatically, giving you 2 turns to attack! Use hammer
and you will do 5 damage (it has one armor). Then use watts electro dash
and you will do 5 because the attack goes through defence. The dazee will
get up, but loses her turn. Repeat the attacks and you will win! After
it dies, you have to leave flower fields completely before it comes back.
Infinite items
from trees
Once you have received a hammer, use it to hit trees. The tree by where
you begin gives you an endless supply of acorns that revive your FP by
3. You must go somewhere else to get another acorn, though. You can also
get coins, star pieces, and a weird doll as well.
Infinite hearts
Find the split on Pleasant Path where one direction leads to the Koopa
Bros. Fortress and the other leads to Koopa Village. Keep running around
the striped pole next to the sign to get hearts.
Special spells
Go to the alley right next to Toad's house in Dry Dry Outpost. Jump forward
over the left box and the camera will swing around to reveal a hidden
area. Talk to Merlee to learn about her special spells. Depending on how
much money you spend, she will help you during and after battles. The
spells do wear off after a certain amount of time, but until then, it
provides you with additional attack power during some battles and more
coins after battles.
Hidden playroom
Go south in Toad Town until you get to the area with the Li'l Oink Farm.
Go left immediately after you enter this area (there is a narrow passageway
that's not fenced off). Hit the tree with your hammer and a pipe will
appear on the right. You can now enter the playroom, but need either a
Silver and/or Gold card to play the games.
Classic Mario
music
Go to the third house in Koopa Village (a Koopa is sunning himself inside).
Stand in front of the radio and press A to switch between stations. Listen
to the Golden Oldies station to hear classic Mario theme music.
Tips on the
boss battles.
Section I: For Battling:
1. Koopa Bros.
Use your Jump with a Power Plus (if you can get one) and a Multi-Bounce
Badge. They will increase attack power and flip the turtles on their backs.
When they are flipped over, whatever one you attck will stay down until
defeat. For the Beginning with bowser, just use your jump and when he
attacks press "A" to reduce damage.
2. Tutankoopa
Use Parakarry's Shell Shot to hit him while he is on the platform and
Mario should have a Multi-Bounce, Power Plus, and another Power Plus you
can get from the castle. This will do about 3-4 on the first hit and 3
on the second, 2 on the thirs, then 1 damage every hit after that. When
he uses the magic rock spell press "A" before he hits you to
reduce damage. You will lose your partner but by now you should have him
at 15-12 HP left. When he summons Iron Chomp, use your Jump if that's
your fancy but i recommend using the Hammer since it is powered up.
3a. Tubba Blubba's
Heart
This is your first 2-part battle. Use Bow as your partner and Multi-Bounce
the heart. When he starts to glow use Bow's "Hide" attack so
you don't lose 12 HP. Really, this battle is just a walk in the park,
while holding a hammer and pounding someone's heart senseless, lol.
3b. Tubba Blubba
This guy only has 10 HP! Just Hammer him and block his attacks and he'll
be defeated.
4. General Guy's Army
This Battle starts with 15 guys at 1 HP each. For example: if you jump
and do 3 damage 3 guys will die. However many there are left is how much
damage you'll take. For another example: if there is 5 left at the end
of your turn you'll take 5 damage. To end this part kill them al or if
one is left he'll scamper away. The second part tests you against Stilt
Guys. There are 2 with 10 HP each. Just jump (the best solution) with
a multi-bounce to defeat them. When they are gone you have the last part
of the army to deal with. These are like the Stilt Guys except with no
stilts. They have about 15 HP each i think.....or it is 10? Doesn't matter,
this'll be a very annoying battle to fight. Just use your best Hammer
Techniques to defeat them. Eventually you will have to deal with the General
Himself.....
4b. General Guy and his Tank
Now you probably have about 25 health left. When fighting him use Watt.
First you HAVE TO GET RID OF THE BULB ON HIS TANK. IF YOU DON'T HE'LL
ZAP YOU CAUSING 8 DAMAGE. After you deal with the Bulb, Hammer his Tank
and Zap it with Watt. When you zap him you'll discover that he's weak
to electricity. He only has 30 HP which will disappear very fast if you
do the following: Use Star Storm then a zap from Watt. Then, heal yourself
and Zap him with Watt. Eventually he will fall.
5a. Lava Pirahna
This is the second most annoying battle in the game. Equip Ice Power Badge
and extinguish those other little 2 Pirahna Plants with your jump. Then
aim all your power at the Main Enemy: Fire Pirahna. The power of Ice will
do about 6 damage and hit him with Parakarry's Shell Shot. He will die
eventually......or does he?
5b. Mega Lava Pirahna
This is harder now because he does more damage and he's on fire. Like
before, extinguish the little Pirahna's with a jump. The Fire Pirahna
will also be on fire. Jump on him and he'll extinguish....but now the
little pirahna's can come back to life. After a while the Koopa with you
will "charge" into battle but touches the lava and after breif
dialogue, runs away. Keep your jump attacks up and use Parakarry and he
will die.....this time for good.
6. Huff n' Puff
Oh my god this boss is probably the toughest, annoying, and hardest boss
in the game. When you hit him, tiny clouds come out so you should use
Lakilester's Spiny attack. It will get rid of the clouds. If you don't
deal with the clouds Huff n' Puff will suck them up and get his health
back. After a while he will get electrocuted and try to zap you. Avoid
this attack at all costs!!! If it hits you it does 12 damage and you can't
risk it. Use Bow to avoid this. Also, you can use Parakarry's Air Raid
(Ultra Rank Attack) which does 8 damage to each enemy if the bar is at
100%. When he gets less HP you are in BIG TROUBLE. His attacks become
more rapid and he gets health back much faster. Use Ultra Shrooms (or
Whacka's Bump is the best thing to use) to heal your health.
7a. Crystal King's
Minions
This isn't really a 2-part battle but you have to kill the crystals that
he summons or else he can multi-attack you. There is a circle crystal,
a square crystal, and a diamond crystal.
7b. Crystal King
This boss is relatively easy. Attack with your Jump attack and use Watt.
He can heal his health, 10 HP, at a time. His attacks are damageable but
you can avoid them. When you beat him only the Koopa King himself is left.....
8. Bowser in the Castle
This battle of Bowser is pretty easy. Although he has 50 HP he can only
do 10-2 damage a hit. His fire breath is the only thing you should worry
about. When he becomes invincible use Star Beam to make him lose invincibility....temporarily.
Equip the Spike Shield badge so you don't get hurt if you jump on his
head. Use Multi-Bounce, both Power Plus's, and the Ice Power Badge for
an extra 1 damage. When you beat him he'll run to the top of the castle,
where your final battle awaits you.....
9a. Bowser on the
Castle
This is the toughest battle in the game. He has 99 HP, Fire Breath that
does 12 damage and his Star Rod Invincibility power. Just hurt him and
do damage until he becomes invincible. After a while the battle will get
worse and switch to Peach and Kammy Koopa (see section 9b. below). When
you get the Peach Beam, you can get rid of his Ultra-Invincibility and
comtinue with the battle. Use lots of Whacka's Bumps to heal your HP and
FP and kick Bowser's booty all the way to High-Heaven and rid of this
Evil Koopa King once and for all.
9b. Kammy Koopa and Twink
This doesn't even take talent. Just attack her and use Peach's Focus to
upgrade Twink's AP (Attack Power). When she dies you will get the Peach
Beam to get rid of Bowser's Ultra-Invincibility.
Section II:
Miscallenous Boss Fights:
1. Jr. Troopa
This is the only "Boss" you'll fight through the game after-before
each chapter. Every fight he gets a new power-up each time. Here is a
list of his power-ups:
Prologue: Reqular old Self
After Chapter 1: Spike Hemlet
After Chapter 3: Wings and Spike Helmet
After Chapter 5: Egg Protector Shell
After Chapter 7: ????????????
Inside Bowser's Castle: Wings, Spike Helmet, More Damage, and better protection.
2. Fuzzipede
This isn't really a boss but you fight him in "The Giant Tuna's"
belly.
3. Lakilester
Just use Jump atatcks and Parakarry's Shell Shot to defeat this minion
of Huff n' Puff to make him join you.
4. Kent C. Koopa
A very annoying boss to fight. With 70 HP, 3 reduced damage, and annoying
attacks, he is very tough. Use a Multi-Bounce and Power Plus's to defeat
this "Psycho Koopa".
5. Twin Goomba's
These 2 Goomba's are the second boss you fight. The blue one has 7 HP
and the red one has 8 HP. just jump and use Goombario's headbutt, just
in case.
6. Goomba King &
Twin Goomba's
Now you have to deal with the king himself! At the start hit the Goomnut
Tree's "X" to get rid of the Twin Goomba's and do 4 damage to
the king. Just keep Jumpin' and he will admit defeat and show the way
to Toad Town
Section III:
Toad Town Tunnels Bloopers:
1. Mini-Blooper
At only 30 HP he's a pretty easy enemy to fight. There's not many tips
on this since he's so easy. Just jump, dodge, and heal to beat him.
2. Electro-Blooper
He has 50 HP and can Electrocute himself for defense. Use Parakarry's
Shell Shot to De-Electrocute him. Just jump on him and you'll beat him.
3. Super Blooper
The Final Blooper you fight. He has 70 HP and he is pretty powerful. Just
jump on him and Shell Shot him to Victory!!!
Section IV:
The Dojo
1. Chan
He only has 15 HP and is like a Koopa, flip him and deal the damage.
2. Ghost Fighter (I
forgot his name)
He has 30 HP this time and can copy your partner's looks and abilities.
He is easy if you practially master the game.
3. The Master "1"
The Master has 50 HP the first time. his multi-attack can do 4, 5, then
6 if you don't block the time. Hammer him and Shell Shot him until he
dies.
4. The Master "2"
This time he has 70 HP. Jump attach him and equip the Shock-Attack badge
so when he hits you, he'll get hurt also.
5. The Ultimate Master
Thefinal time he has 99 HP and a lot of power and defense. I don't have
tips since everyone fights him differently.

Original Mario
Go to Boo's Haunted Mansion and enter it. Once you get in the door continue
walking straight until you come to a wall. Walk to the right until you
see a door. This is the door farthest to the right. Walk into where the
door leads you. There should be a large pot and a crate to the left. Jump
on the crate and jump into the pot from there. When you jump out, you
will be the original NES version of Mario. Note: You cannot leave the
room with this trick on.
Luigi's secret
diary
Once you have the Super Boots and/or the Ultra Boots, go into Mario and
Luigi's bedroom in Mario's house. You will see a square of boards facing
the wrong direction. Do a special jump (press A while in the air) to go
into the basement. Look at the book on the table to find Luigi's diary.
Answers to
the Bowser questions
The answers are as follows: "3", "Red", "Red",
"24".
Never-ending
hallway pattern
The pattern to the "Never-ending hallway" is up, down, up, down,
down, up.
Ultra-Level
party members
Once you visit Raphael the Raven, you can "Ultra-Level" your
party members. The best one to "Ultra-Level" is Parakarry, because
he learns "Air Raid," which uses 6 (or 8) FP, and deals about
6 damage to each enemy (if you get to 100% on the "Press Left repeatedly"
meter).
Easy Way to
beat the Koopa Bros.
If u are a lot like the old me, you go for power over tactics, in which
you would use Bombette's bomb attack. Instead, fight fire with fire, and
use Kooper's shell attacks. When the Koopa's get into their shell tower
attack use your hammer and Kooper's shell attacks to bring down the tower
and spill them on there back disabling them for one turn. Then use Kooper's
super spin dash to wipe out of them at once, and if you have the badge
use Mario's multibounce. BASICALLY THE KEY IS ATTACKS THAT TARGET ALL
ENIMIES, BUT THE BOMB BECAUSE THAT USES TO MUCH FP AND YOU WON'T HAVE
ENOUGH ATTACK POWER!
