with the application's sound settings turned on causes massive slowdown
equivalent to that gained through using the Time Stopper power-up. Note:
works best before version 3.1, which was released largely to stop abuse
of this glitch. After version 3.1 a similar (although lesser) benefit
can be achieved by holding down one of the volume buttons during gameplay.
