Change the GameCube's calendar date to 12/25, Christmas (year has no importance).
When you load up the game, Samus will have a suit fit for the holiday
season. You can view this at anytime the camera is in 3rd person view
(changing in/out morph ball, save/map/ammo station, etc).
Unlockable: Endings
Collect 75% of the items in the game, and you'll see Samus outside of
her suit after beating the final boss. Collect all items, and see a special
ending with Dark Samus.
Unlockable: Hard Mode
To unlock Hard Mode, simply complete the game on Normal mode.

Hint: Quadraxis Quicker
In Quadraxis' second phase, you don't have to destroy the sonic emitter
by using the Echo Visor. You can simply use the Screw Attack to destroy
it. To get high enough though, climb up its legs.
