Director Story:
Insert the side of the DVD that contains the supplemental materials – golden side up. When the Main Menu for this disc appears on the screen, highlight the entry 'The Stories of Sholom Aleichem' and then press the RIGHT arrow key on your remote control. This will highlight a silhouette of the fiddler on the screen. Press ENTER now and you will be treated to a short clip of director Norman Jewison telling a witty story of a beggar and a rich merchant. This tale can be found in the original stage play as a short dialogue between the beggar Reb Nahum and the butcher Lazar Wolf.
